To get going, Melissa directed her team to refinish the hardwood floors, remove the carpeting on the stairs, paint all of the walls, and clean all of the windows. A majority of the lighting throughout the home was upgraded and all interior wood doors were primed and painted. All of the bathrooms were majorly upgraded, with the master receiving a new prefab vanity cabinet, new counter, new sink, new faucet, new mirror, and new tiling throughout. In the kid’s bathroom, the vanity lights were removed and the mirror trim was painted, along with upgrades to the wood wainscoting. Over in the downstairs bathroom, the drywall was repaired around the shower and a prefab niche was installed. Moving on to the outside of the house, the front door was painted, and the decks and railings were power washed and sealed. The garage drywalls were repaired and the entire exterior, gates, and roof trim received a fresh coat of paint. Potted plants were added to the deck, and fresh mulch was laid around the property to wrap this project up.

Once this home was listed, it sold for $2,200,000, earning the owners a $131,741 profit and 170% return on their investment!
