Tucked away behind Dolores Park in the Mission neighborhood of San Francisco, this stunning duplex underwent a transformative renovation led by project director Kristina Shelton, in collaboration with agent Natalie Meyers from Vanguard Properties. The property, originally valued at $1,600,000 in its as-is condition, saw an extensive $145,209 renovation, enhancing both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Every room on both floors received meticulous attention, with a replaced garage door, repaired and replaced rear exterior stairs, and addressing water damage at the back door. Broken windows were replaced, defective ones repaired, and smoke/CO2 detectors were added for safety. Carpet and padding were installed in all rooms and stairs, excluding the kitchen, bath, and toilet areas. In Unit 1, walls, ceiling, and trim were patched and painted, with additional updates to the kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanity. Unit 2 underwent a refresh with patched and painted walls and ceiling in the hall, dining room, kitchen, and back porch. The kitchen saw a modern upgrade with the installation of a new dishwasher and stove/oven. The exterior received a facelift with patched stucco and freshly painted walls, trim, and stairs. Once this project wrapped up, this duplex sold for $1,850,000, yielding a substantial profit for the sellers of $104,791.
