At Freemodel, we have a large team of designers that partner with us to work as project directors. Our mission is to recruit, empower, and celebrate these project directors, because they are the heart of our company. As entrepreneurs, we believe that project directors should have the autonomy to run their own business, maintain creative control over their designs, and have the ability to make a great living on their own terms.
As a Freemodel project director, you would be paid per project, and have ownership of core project scoping, material selection, contractor bidding, project management, and customer communications.

Software-based marketplace
Freemodel enables project directors to easily handle every aspect of these projects, including design and contractor management, while staying on budget and on time. We also provide marketing materials such as flyers, business cards, an online portfolio, social media highlights, and PR opportunities to project directors to help amplify their business endeavors.
In-house Design Services team
Freemodel offers project directors access to our in-house Design Services team for support on things like finished material specification, layout changes, architecture, structural engineering, building code compliance, and permitting.
Access to a network of contractors
Freemodel’s contractor network team helps you by providing a wide array of subcontractors that are vetted, licensed, and insured in the regions where project directors are working.
Freemodel pays for the projects upfront
Freemodel is a general licensed contractor. We provide the funding for each project and once the home sells, Freemodel is paid back out of escrow for the contract amount — no interest of any kind, no more paperwork, and no additional hassle.
Sales and Partnership support
Freemodel’s Sales and Partnership teams focus on lead generation and creating relationships with broker and agent partners. Additionally, our Project Success team is available to all project directors for support through their individual projects and response to inquiries.
