Lauren Sharp leads the in-house design team at Freemodel. Lauren is a residential interior designer and member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Lauren has past experience as an early employee of a tech enabled design and construction company, has been a consultant to startups in the tech <> design & construction space, and as a residential interior design business owner. Lauren has provided design services to clients from coast to coast.

"In my design practice my focus has been in kitchen & bath design, residential remodels, color and finish consultation, and wall, window & floor coverings. My design career began as a partner in my family’s commercial floor and window covering business. I've spent time as a designer at Smith & Noble. I served as founding Design Consultant and Design Consultant Training Manager at Made Renovation, a tech-enabled bathroom design and build firm. Empowering designers on their paths to honoring the original architectural design intention of a house, updated for the needs of life in the present, is my passion as a design leader.

I live with my wife in Oakland where our mid-century home has been the test ground for many of my design projects. I love to read and garden, and I'm passionate about architectural history, public art installations, and museology. On my travels visiting historic home museums is always tops on my list as so much can be learned from these gems from the past."
