This tranquil single-level 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in the Bennett Valley neighborhood of Santa Rosa was sure to make a splash on the market once it was made available to buyers. Agent Heather Brown of Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty teamed up with project director Julie Dean to get this house in tip-top shape and give the owners the best chance at getting a high return on their investment.

Under Julie’s direction, the team got started by refinishing all hardwood floors and patching and painting all walls, ceilings, and trim throughout the home. The interior of the front door was painted and all of the flush mount ceiling lights were replaced with more modern fixtures. All of the electric outlets and plugs were upgraded and all of the windows were cleaned to help the natural light shine through. Over in the kitchen, new cabinets were installed and the doors and frames were painted. The ceiling lights were replaced and the hardwood floors were refinished. A new prefab vanity cabinet, countertops, sink, faucet, and mirror were also installed to finish the upgrades in this room. A new toilet and vanity setup were also installed in the kid’s bathroom, along with new baseboards and reglazing of the tub and tiling. On the exterior of the home, the front door and mailbox were power washed and painted to help make the front of the home look more inviting.

When this project came to a close, the home sold for $675,000, giving the owners a $26,747 profit and a 115% return on their investment!
