Located in one of Santa Clara’s most coveted neighborhoods, this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home features a separate family room off of the kitchen, a cozy fireplace, and a large living room overlooking the private backyard. Agent Barbara Curley of Golden Gate Sotheby's International Realty teamed up with project director Azary Khalfan to give some modern touches to this property before it hit the market.

To start off, Azary directed her team to refinish all of the hardwood floors and paint all of the walls, ceilings, and trim. The window treatments were removed in every room and all of the door knobs were replaced throughout the home. Any sliding door tracts were cleaned up and socket covers were replaced where necessary. Additionally, the fireplace mesh and frame were removed and all of the recessed lights were fixed or replaced. Over in the kitchen, new doors and drawers were installed, painted, and given new pulls. A new under-mount sink and faucet were installed, and the garbage disposal and air switch were replaced. New countertops were installed, along with a new backsplash, electrical cooktop, extractor fan, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. To wrap things up in the kitchen, new LVT flooring was installed to give the room a shiny finish. In the master bathroom, the shower wall and base were reglazed, and niche shelving was cleaned and painted. Fixed shower trim was added, along with a new cabinet. A new prefab vanity cabinet, countertop, sink, faucet, mirror, and hardware were installed. And new LVT flooring was added in this room as well. Moving on to the second bathroom, new vanity lights were installed and the bathtub and surrounding wall were reglazed, along with the addition of a tub filler, temperature valve, and volume valve. The toilet was replaced and a new prefab vanity cabinet, countertop, sink, vanity mirror, and faucet were installed. Additionally, new hardware was added and LVT flooring was installed. On the exterior of the home, the walls, trim, and front door were patched and painted and new mulch and plants were added around the property. Some of the large trees were removed or thinned out, and stepping stones were added along the side of the home. The iron porch columns were removed, the brick barbeque structure was repaired, and a new doorbell was added to finish the job.

Upon completion of this project, this Bay Area home sold for $2,300,000, offering the owners a $169,774 profit and a 130% return on investment.

- 2nd Bathroom: new vanity lights installed, bathtub and surrounding wall reglazed, new fixed shower head, tub filler, temp valve, and volume valve installed, toilet replaced, new prefab vanity cabinet, counter, and sink installed, new sink faucet installed, new vanity mirror installed, new hardware installed, ceiling fan light and cover replaced, new LVT flooring installed
