This sunny 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo in Palo Alto features beautiful views and all the amenities that come with having a home in a living community. Agent Joyce Romeo of Sereno Group teamed up with project director Azary Khalfan to bring this home up to speed in order to impress modern-day buyers and earn the owners a return on their remodeling investment.

Azary started out by having her team remove all of the carpets throughout the condo and install vinyl flooring in each room. The popcorn ceilings were also removed and all walls, ceilings, and trim were patched and refinished with a fresh coat of paint. All of the doors and closets were also repainted, and all of the doorknobs were replaced with more modern, sleek ones. In the kitchen, the short walls that were facing the dining area were removed, which helps to open up the space and allowed the two rooms to flow together. All of the counters and appliances were removed, and replaced with new, up-to-date installments. A new under-mount sink, faucet, and garbage disposal were installed, and a new backsplash was also added. A new electrical range and extractor fan were installed, along with a new refrigerator and dishwasher. Lastly, all of the cabinets were refaced and brightened up with a fresh coat of paint. The master bedroom benefitted from a new door, repairs to the walls, and a door stopper to prevent any future damage. The bathroom was majorly upgraded with a new vanity light, sink faucet, mirror, and hardware, as well as reglazing to the bathtub and shower. Additionally, a fixed shower head was installed and the old toilet was removed and replaced with a new one.

Upon completion of this project, the condo sold for $960,000, earning the owner a $63,069 profit and 134% return on their investment!
