This inviting 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in San Mateo was the perfect remodeling opportunity for agent David Martin of Coldwell Banker and project director Azary Khalfan and designer Samantha Black to team up on before unveiling to potential buyers. Under Azary’s direction, the team started out by giving each room a fresh coat of paint and sanding and repainting all of the doors and casings. All of the ceiling lights were replaced and the fireplace was upgraded with a new backsplash and marble base. The wall between the living room and kitchen was removed and replaced with supporting posts and beams to support the ceiling. Additionally, new carpet was installed in the family room to add a comfortable touch. In the kitchen, a new undermount sink and faucet were installed, as well as a new garbage disposal and pendant light over the center island. New countertops and backsplash were installed, and the old floor was replaced with new luxury vinyl flooring. The existing range, microwave, extractor fan and dishwasher were all relocated within the kitchen to improve the usage and flow of the room, and a new refrigerator was added to top it all off! Over in the master bathroom, luxury vinyl flooring was installed and the vanity cabinets were painted. The countertop and sink were replaced to reflect a more modern style and color palette. On the outside of the home, the driveway and front porch were painted and the back deck was washed, bleached, sanded, and sealed.

Once this project wrapped up, the home sold for $1,900,000, giving the owners a $154,958 profit and 163% return on their investment!
