I have a long and diverse background with 20+ years of professional experience, acquiring my design degree later in my career. As a result, I have both design and project management experience, a unique combination that helps to provide both strategic and creative guidance and deliver successful, beautiful projects on time and on budget.
I’ve completed over 30 projects in the last 18 months with Freemodel, from full-on remodels of all rooms (including opening walls) to just surface improvements. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to design; I like to curate my choices carefully, keeping in mind the competitive landscape in the surrounding areas, design trends, the tastes of my clients, and most importantly, the strategic value of my choices and upgrades. I love a killer before-and-after shot and always try to go above and beyond for my clients.
I’m originally from South Africa and love a good braai, our version of a barbecue cookout. I’m a big sports enthusiast but mostly I love hanging out with my family and two little ones (which keep me very busy!). I just got back from a dream trip to Southern Africa with family and friends, where I toured five different countries, got charged by an elephant, and swam in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
