When Kathleen Crandall of Better Homes and Gardens and Sexton Group’s Ernie Sexton called on us to revitalize a two bedroom/two bath 1921 cottage with a separate backyard studio, we jumped at the chance. In collaboration with designer Samantha Black, project director Lara Richmond managed a true transformation of this property, both inside and out. Opening up the wall between the kitchen and front room made it feel current, while preserving many of the the original craftsman details. And updating all of the other rooms and floors made this home stand out as comfortable and chic. The result was a sale $365,000 over the asking price!
